Core Values and Vision
Core Values
|
The members of the Newtown Volunteer Ambulance Corps serve their neighbors when they are in their time of greatest need. They serve with their expertise, their compassion, and their energy.
On an ambulance call, our volunteers communicate respect and honesty to their team members and their patients. Their demeanor conveys skill and empathy. In the face of emergencies, our members are reassuring, calm, and respectful. We attend to our patients with state of the art equipment and the knowledge to use it effectively. As volunteers, we are as diverse as the community we serve. As a Corps, we are united and dedicated to furthering our already excellent skills. We continue our training individually and as a group and we mentor each other on a continuing basis. |
