Newtown Volunteer Ambulance asks for your contribution to help us continue to provide high quality emergency medical services to our town. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your donation is tax deductible within the rules set by the Internal Revenue Service.
We are 100% volunteer. We have over 70 educated, trained and state certified EMTs who care and give back to our wonderful community. Our EMTs are available to respond 24 hours a day, 365 days a year when you, your family, or your neighbor are in a time of need. Our call and patient numbers keep rising every year. In 2016, we had 2,380 calls and treated 2,355 patients.
Every dollar we receive is used to provide you with the very best emergency medical service available. Your donations make it possible for us to purchase life-saving supplies and maintain and repair our equipment.
